Description

A single piece of 'fiddleback' figured sugar maple carved to resemble pleated fabric. Interior stippled and pyrography. Watco and Minwax oil finishes.
A good example of a 'bespoke' carved form. The layout of the pleats was determined by radial checks (cracks) in the wood.
