Cherry burl background with natural edges and cherry panel with pyrography illustration adapted from Greek vessel. Wall mounted. Watco oil finish.
Vessels once were literature, as illustrated in this piece adapted from classical red- and black-figured Greek pottery circa 500BCE. Familiar companions in our homes, the vessel may also be our final dwelling-place.
