Description
A wall piece that depicts the baseball season. The background is carved as a rectangular plaque with three calendar pages, each with an added carved motif. Three turned and carved baseballs show increasing wear through the months. The baseball bat was turned and carved from a piece of ash wood provided by the Louisville Slugger company. The wood is carved to resemble a baseball mitt in one panel.
